Our group stayed in the hotel in Erzurum when we visited Turkey last summer.  The hotel was very comfortable and modern.  Cable TV, swimming pool, great food, the works! There was a wedding party going on the evening we were there.  Very chi-chi.  

The hotel is right next to the ski hill.  I don't have the name of the hotel handy but I can look it up if you want to know.

I'm not a skier so the hill looked pretty intimidating to me.  More like a mountain than a hill.  I had to squint to see the buildings at the top of the mountain ;D
