From Turkey to Cyprus by Car

Hi,
I am going to be driving from Bulgaria through Turkey to get the ferry to Cyprus. Does any one have a recommended route through Turkey to the Port at Tasucu? Are the roads OK, has anyone caught the ferry to Cyprus? Any information is gratefully recieved, Thanks
