Located on the western tip of Bodrum peninsula, Gumusluk is second to none with crystal clear sea, hills covered with aromatic herbs, incredible Aegean Sea views, and much more to offer.



In Gumusluk, you can enjoy a sun and sea holiday combined with nature and history whilst being within easy reach of Bodrum nightlife thanks to the local transportation.



In Gumusluk, you can find places to swim in nearly everywhere, sunbathe enjoying the sea view dotted with green islands, snorkel in amongst the remains of ancient Myndos.


Gumusluk is 25 km from Bodrum and 60 km from Bodrum Airport. There are shuttle services to Bodrum for reasonable prices. Alternatively, Alternatively, you can take a taxi or choose one of the transfer services companies. It takes about an hour to get to Gumusluk. However, I don’t think you will have time to check your watch while you are enjoying the magnificent views of the road.

GUMUSLUK BAY

Gumusluk Bay retains the old fishing village flavor. Most of the locals have strong ties to the sea. One of the few areas that Tourism couldn't eradicate completely the local way of life.

So you can witness the life in a small Aegean fishing village while you are having a sun and sea holiday.



In Gumusluk Bay, there are two beaches open to public with sunbeds for which you don't have to pay anything, the Rabbit Island connected with land by an ancient causeway, and famous fish restaurants.



As for the accomodation, there are no huge complexes in Gumusluk or all inclusives. Instead, you can find small size hotels, bed and breakfasts that the home atmosphere of the Aegean with comfort, and holiday rentals, which gives you the opportunity to witness the local life and the freedom of passing time wherever and whichever way you like.

HOW TO GO TO GUMUSLUK

From the airport:

You can use the service buses provided by HAVAS,  Ground Handling Services Company to get to Bodrum Bus Station, where you can find mini buses going to everywhere on the peninsula.

You can choose to take a taxi.

You can contact one of the transfer companies.


From Bodrum:

You can take mini bus to get to Gumusluk at the Bodrum Bus Station.

Taxi is also an alternative.

Or you can hire a vehicle and drive to Gumusluk. All you need to do is to follow the main road from Bodrum to Turgutreis and take the turning to right when you see the sign to Derekoy after you pass Gumbet, Bitez, Ortakent, Gurece junctions.
