Though access to Adiyaman is available by air and train, the land transportation is the most widely used one. The sub-prefecture of Golbasi is a full-fledged turntable in the province, and Malatya, Gaziantep and Kahramanmaras land routes all converge at this point. The same also applies for the rail connection as the track extending from Malatya and Fevzipasa passes through Golbasi. There are three flights weekly to Ankara (on Monday. Wednesday, and Saturday) an via Ankara to Istanbul.

Air transportations has been done in our city by Adiyaman Airport since 22 of May 1998. Transport has been performed three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.) In addition to this, owing to increase in the number of the passengers it has been expected that the number of journeys will increase.
